Change is always a difficult subject to address. We often times read about our churches needing change but taking the slow and steady route to get where you need to be. There are always changes whenever you find out you are having another baby (we ARE NOT) or whenever you have unexpected situations arise. However, there is also a feeling of anxiety whenever you are experiencing changes. Lots of emotions come into play when you make gigantic life decisions that affect your entire family.
On with the announcement.
Change for the Campbell Family
As of August 12, 2018, I was voted in as pastor of the Arbor Grove Free Will Baptist Church in Hoxie, Arkansas. This decision was not an easy one to make for Kaylee and me, nor was it one that we made hastily. However, we feel this is where the Lord is leading us to go for our next step of ministry.
This decision was in no way brought about by any disagreements or ill feelings toward our current church. Pocahontas has been a wonderful place to call home for the last three years and our church family has been nothing less than exceptional to us. There are no hard feelings involved with our leaving and we will miss this church family dearly. We have truly been blessed to be a part of this faith family by God’s grace and kindness. We are sad to leave such wonderful people, but we are also excited to be joining a church family to grow with together.
Please be in prayer for us as we transition from our current church to Arbor Grove. Also be in prayer for First Free Will Baptist Church of Pocahontas as they transition.
“And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ.” Philippians 1:6
